Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gsg 522p light weight, ftf closed bolt

I noticed today that when I insert a mag on a closed bolt, pull the charging handle it's failing to strip the first round out of the mag.

It's been awhile since I shot it but don't remember having that issue before. I tried 2 different mags with different rounds with the same results. When I load a mag with the bolt open it works and feeds perfect.
Any ideas what to check or adjust?

I vaguely recall someone writing about this a long time ago. But I seriously don't recall the solution other than locking the bolt back before inserting magazine.  Not being flip, that is just what I recall was written.
