I took my new GM-22 out to the range for the first time. I was shooting it on an S&W 15-22 and the point of impact was 12in higher then the rifle with out the suppressor. No end cap or baffle strikes. Is this normal how do adjust for it?

This is not normal. You did not state the range, but I would guess around 50 yards. Mine has less than an inch POI change. A better photo would be a true 90-degree side view to look for an air gap. As a check on whether this is a suppressor or barrel issue, I would suggest trying on a different threaded .22.
I think this to be an alignment issue. There are several possibilities since you say you are not using a washer of any sort. You also say that you see no obvious evidence of bullet contact.
1. Shoulder on the barrel is not perfect. A slight radius can result in incomplete contact with the shoulder. This can be corrected.
2. Thread relief in the titanium thread insert not quite long enough for the barrel (easily corrected). Both of these can be determined by close inspection of a potential air gap where the suppressor contacts the barrel shoulder.
3. Titanium thread insert in the suppressor core not perfectly straight (easily corrected with a lathe)
If you send in just the suppressor, they cannot necessarily correct the problem. The barrel is also necessary. No longer being with Gemtech, I do not know what their turn-around is on repairs. If the suppressor is the culprit, it would be a warranty issue, but not if it is a barrel issue. While I could do it easily, there would be a charge. Feel free to contact me by e-mail preferably.
