I took out my MP5, havent touched it since moving across the country.  

Somehow the safety selector has run off.  Looking online just the fire selector/safety switch is $70+ but a new g3 lower with trigger pack & everything is ...$70.  Can I take the safety selector off a G3 lower and put it in my MKE mp5?

Also will I get a date from my local ATF agents for buying a FA G3 lower?  I dont own a G3 so im not worried about "constructive possession", closest thing I own is my MKE MP5.

If the G3 has a metal lower, the selector axle will be too short to fit in an MKE housing
