I have been browsing the inter webs for a Tikka T3 Arctic in .308 and found this.

Attachment Attached File

Kinda funky but has 60 degree bolt throw, three locking lugs, irons with a railed scope mount, takes AICS mags and has a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle on a 18 inch barrel.

Anyone here have a rifle from them?

Neat.  Don't know if it's $1500 worth of neat, but I like it.

I don't have any experience with them, but it sure is a good looking rifle.

I do like how low they mounted the receiver sights.  Not sure what Tikka Arctic's are running now or if one could find them, but not a horrible price for all of the features.  Reminds me of a Tikka Battue, but with better sights.
Magpul mags are a real plus.

Their Momentum Elite rifles are on GB $100 to $200 below MSRP.

Looks like it can be backordered.  I like Europtic.

Looks like low profile sights that flip up into AR-style sights?  I do like the mag release.

Does Franchi use 700 clone actions, or , being Beretta owned, Tikkas, or what?

I think it's just their own version of Benelli's Lupo action.  It has the same bolt head as the Lupo and looks similar overall to the Lupo bolt, just with less machining done.

Kinda like a poor man’s Tikka Arctic.  Dammit, now I want one

Pretty cool. But why have the low profile and flip ups sights? That part doesn’t really make sense to me. Also wish it was lighter.

Conceptually, it's pretty neat, but they need to shave some weight off of that rifle.  7.5 lbs for a "scout rifle" is kinda hefty.  6 1/2 pounds should be the target weight.

Folding sights doesn't make much sense either, unless you want to permanently affix a red dot.  They could save weight by plowing a channel into the middle of the rail and using a lower profile blade or ghost ring sight.

Has anyone seen one in the wild yet?  I'm hoping to get hands on one at the next gun show, I think it's a really neat rifle and may be something I'd like to own.  Why?  I'm not actually sure, but it's freaking cool.
