Sign another copy and upload it…and name it something like “signed 24mo exemption letter”.

You can upload additional docs after you’ve submitted. Just can’t delete the other ones.

…and just curious, when was the last time you uploaded the trust docs? I ask because I had one disapproved earlier this year because they’re enforcing the regulations different than it’s written. They tried to tell me it was 24 months from the last time you provided them the trust. Nevermind that I had one submitted and approved (both dates >24 months from the last time I sent them the trust, but <24 months from the previous approval date) using the same prior approval.

You may get an examiner that does it differently…just sharing my recent experience.

I’ll probably never try it again with eForms. With paper, it at least saves paper and toner. With eForms, I already have the PDF, so I’ll just upload it.

I also have emails where I argued my case to no avail. Examiner even said they checked with their supervisor. I basically told them that’s why the ATF was disliked in general…because they constantly just make stuff up that’s not even the law.

It’s amazing what you can learn if you’d actually read the instructions on the form…

My first trust used a Schedule A. I sent the original version, with nothing but $200 cash listed on it, and received dozens of approvals. Kept the current/updated version at home.

If the trust mentions a Schedule, I believe they just want to see one.

My current trust doesn’t use one, but uses Assignment of Property sheets instead. I’ve sent those in with some submissions, and not sent one with others. Approved either way.
