So i am planning out a 22lr can, its going to be direct thread, though i wouldn't mind being able to use something like a 10/22 adaptor... What size bore is best for cone style baffles?

I went with .280" on both of mine.

If you aren't doing it on a lathe and the holes are not perfectly concentric, you may want to go bigger.

Generally K baffles are reccomended and give better results for low pressure, low velocity cartridges like 22 LR.

If you have the ability to do a K baffle might want to think about it.

They are more complex to machine.
