I think the source is IMA. I got a bag and they are old Bess flints from Nepal. Lots of them were used and dull, mostly black with a few ambers. I got at least 8 older spall flints, which is way cool. Good thing about flints is they can be resharpened.

I had to go over there and take a look. Cant do it. Not on the pound of flints nor on the original CW era rifles.
Pretty sure IMA has some connection to BudK Knives. BudK had all those guns 5 or 10 years ago and prices were significantly less.

I bought my flints from this place:
