I know you cannot mix H series Cerakote with Elite series semi different formula.

However, can you spray a base coat or Elite series, flash cure it for 15 min then apply a H series over then finish cure?

I like the Elite series extra durability but I’m not a fan of the satin 18:1 only finish.

I’ve always mixed my H series with 20:1 or 21:1 and it leaves a flatter finish.

Plus I have a lot of colors for H and am on the fence of trying Elite.

We do recommend using the same series of Cerakote for the whole item but that process will be ok.
