Picked up a Traditions Buckstalker kit on clearance from Walmart for $69. Anything good or bad I should know about this rifle ? What powders, caps and ammo I should keep an eye out for in these rough times and ones I should stay away from. Any accessories I should also pick up to make this a fun experience ?

Buckstalker was my first inline, killed 3 deer with it. My favorite load was 100 grain Goex 2f pushing a .452 250grain XTP in a black MMP sabot. If you plan on shooting it a fair amount it’s worth it to buy supplies in bulk.

I'll agree with bodybagger, good gun.

I will respectfully disagree with Procat, though, in that i like (70 grains of) Pyrodex RS, and a 451 lead moulded swc (240gr) with the green Harvester sabots.

Fucking killer. (only 1 so far)
