PPG Omni is a fairly economical paint product.

I have painted things with it.

I like rustoleum camo paints. Cheap, lays super flat, and wears well. Easy to change patterns.

I’ve used rustoleum and krylon camo paints. Aervoe is my favorite for its durability and color range

Aervoe, just how abrasive/chemical resistant is it compared to say Aluma-hyde.  Is it twice as good a kylon but half as good as AH?

I’ve never used Aluma Hyde, so can’t speak for that
Having rattled canned guns for almost 20 years, aervoe is more durable than krylon / rustoleum.

Having said that, all spray paints wear with use and cleaning

Mainly just Krylon.  Pretty sure I've used Rustoleum at some point.  I Krylon everything.

I've read Aervoe is superior, will probably try it some day, but I'm cheap.

I don't know that I've ever run into Aervoe  before. Where can you find it?

Not trying to hijack, but what spray paint brand has an OD color that is actually OD? the Rustoleum deep forest green is too dark and there isn't anything called OD that I can find locally.

Krylon, cuz I can find what I need at the Home Despot. Aluma-Hyde is the next step up for me.

In my experience, Aervoe nozzles clog way too easily, and Rustoleum is fine. Neither seems to be any more durable than Krylon, so I may as well go with what's easily available, as I will have to reapply.

Spray paint question here pertaining to the topic...

What spray paint would you use for a wood gun stock, like for a shotgun stock?

Durabake.

More forgiving than Cerakote.
Looks very professional after baking (the heat makes the paint flow into an even finish).
Maybe slightly less durable than Cerakote.
Plenty good for the shit I put my guns through.

Aervoe if I'm going for durability.
Krylon if I'm not going for durability.

Rustoleum and Krylon. I can make patterns that match the terrain in my area with the limited colors and I see no reason to spend several times more for more durability.

Rustoleum and only Rustoleum.
Krylon just looks.... off
