I recently bought 2 cans of Aervoe FDE(1076) off of Walmart.com and received 2 cans of Hunters Specialties mud brown instead. I returned them of course but still need the 1076.

Well that’s disappointing - I really liked the selection and the quality. Some internet rumblings that Krylon discontinuing camo as well?
BigTex has Field Drab and Sand, I may order a few cans just in case… wish there were more colors available. And this news paired with Okay Industries…

I had one can of coyote left and went to paint today - got spray for about 10 sec then the head clogged up.

Aervoe’s Field Drab was almost perfect for KAC Taupe. Now that they are gone, closest I’ve seen is Gillespie Field Drab is the closest. It’s a little too dark or has too much olive to be perfect.

Talk about a crock of shit. I picked up a case of field drab before they were gone everywhere. Broke out the first can and started spraying a rifle today. It's not even close to the other rifles I did in field drab. It's more like an earth brown. Much darker, no taupe or green shades, just brown.
All the cans in the case are marked field drab, but they all spray the same, all brown color.  Guess I'll brake out the stripper and brake fluid and try and figure out something else. |

I've used Rapco (i linked it above)semi gloss black on an Imbel FAL build. Good stuff, and matches the original color. Might be worth checking out their other colors depending on need.
