I have a chance to buy an FN made in Belgium in the above listed serial range. Is their anything to look out for in that generation? I know it won’t be cheap, and have read they have cast receivers as opposed to the earlier forged style. I have an SA58 already but have always wanted a real FN.
If it's a Steyr import it may have a sear cut receiver. That makes it a more rare version and some say it carries a bit more value. Is it a fixed stock, long barrel? Folding stock long barrel (para)? Folding stock, short barrel? Heavy barrel?
