Besides SS $6,000 kiosk what sucess has anyone had with different scanners? I need to get one for a shop.

THSF uses a non-SS related scanner. I’m sure Scott would talk to you about it if you called. I can’t remember off the top of my head what it is. Maybe LiveScan?

The scanner isn't a problem, there are used ones on eBay for cheap. The problem is getting the software to interface with the scanner. The only place I've found you can get it is from the scanner manufacturers and it's like $4k.

I guess either the OP called THSF or Scott happened to see this thread…as I got a text from him today that simply said:

Print Scan is name of finger print software

Please follow back with you decision and what your overall cost ends up being. Interested but do not think it will be cost effect at this point for our volume.
