Do the surplus coyote one fit on 2 columns of MOLLE or 3? The usgi ones fit on 3 and I'm trying to rearrange stuff on my hunting belt.

Thanks

After a fruitless search for the 1 or 2 I know I have, I am relegated to my memory of the pouches:

I recall them being a considerable smaller pouch than the fairly expansive USGI GP/canteen pouch, but I think the PALS footprint was more or less the same.

It is indeed three columns.

If you're buying them, get the V2's, that have shock cord and the cord keeper, not the V1's with the sewn in elastic retention, those ones suck.

CHeck out the pouches from raptor tactical for nalgenes if you're okay trying 32 oz nalgene on your belt instead.

I have one of those with the mesh bottoms and it is WAY too tight on my USGI canteen, did not fit well at all so I hope yours fits well.

+1, I have a V1 version and they're pure shit.  Doesn't fit the canteen at all unless I'm really using force to get in (to the point where you'd have to take off your stuff to work on it).
