I put a Dillon 1500 trimer on my Hornady progressive.
Seems like it works great.
I turn the vacume on every now and then , chips don't seem to build up. Any advise welcome

Do you have the locking shim from hornady to keep the LNL bushing from turning due to motor torque?

I have put in shims to take up vertical slack. This keeps the shell plate from bumping powdered cases..
I ran about 3k 556 sized and trimmed with no problems
I checked head space and length offen.
I turn on the vacume on and off as it make noise. This way I'm not getting chips that hinder cutting.
The trimer diameter is large enough to precludes using the the die position next to it.

I took the pic with an iPad. If I turn it 180 degrees will that fix it?

I put a Lee universal decapping die before the trimer
