There has been a vendor at the local gun shows here that has a Devine M1A,he's asking about 5k for it IIRC. He still has it as far as I know and it's been about 12 years.

It's getting there slowly. There was one (SN# 001106) National Match Devine sold on GB last week for ~$2800.

Glad to hear Elmer's still kicking; I haven't seen him since pre-Covid.  Many years ago I dropped by his place in Devine with some cash and a few PBRs and was surprised to see how much stuff he still had.  I bought quite a few M14 parts from him that trip.  He's quite the storyteller.
