There have been a few other PE90 auctions that have ended recently. None of them reached $11,275.
Arms Unlimited sold two non-JDI imported PE90s for $8,025 and $9,000. These were imported by Trident, LLC out of Gambrills, MD. A JDI PE90 received no bids with a starting bid of $10,000. It has just been resisted with the same $10,000 starting bid. A new in box JDI imported SG550P sold for $8,875. It is grey with green furniture. Prices on the JDI 551s are all over the place as well. Two JDI SG551LBs were recently auctioned on GB. A new in box 551 went for $9,275, and a slightly used one went for $5,930. Dave sold a lightly used 551LB the other day for $3,450. It looks like it sold in something like 10 minutes after he posted it for sale. |

a Herndon VA SigArms imported 550 sold by Keystone for $16K. MSTN sold one PE90P (no stock) at $10K BIN and posted a second one at $10K with no bidders. So many grey market imports of used rifles as pistols (i.e. used PE90's by Trident) makes the market volatile for sure.

Guessing it's too late to get a PE-90?
Are they done? Figures - I'm always too late on these things. |

There will be some available on the secondary market if you keep an eye on gunjoker but prepare to pay for it... |

I started calling both phone numbers at 10:00am CT. I got through to one of them about ten times, but nobody answered. Around 5:30 a lady answered and took my order for a 553LB. It's the only one I'm missing, so that's perfect if this actually happens. We'll see...

Yea, the phone was busy all day. I called regularly and didn’t get through till after 5pm. I was on hoping for a PE90/550 or a 553R in 7.62x39 but ended up with a 16” 751. I’m sure it will be awesome and I’m well stocked with 7.62 NATO.

I have not bought from him. Is just a call and see what he has available type of thing?

Quoted: I have not bought from him. Is just a call and see what he has available type of thing? View Quote Yes, he did periodically update the JDI Firearms Facebook page yesterday and this morning with availability, but your best bet would be to call and try to get through. There probably isn't a whole lot left at this point (especially after yesterday's event and today's calls for action). I managed to snag one of the 553Rs, also wanted that 553SB but there were only 8 and they sold out quick. |

After several hours of trying to get through, I was able to talk to a nice lady and order a 553R.

What are you guys doing with your 553LB's? Shortening and threading or running as is?

I already have one of the 552SB's that JDI sold, so I decided to get a 553LB. I actually prefer the longer barrel.

Don’t cut a lb for goodness sake. If anyone wants to trade my short barrel for your long barrel I’ll pay a qualified sig gunsmith.

I didn’t get an invoice yet either was lucky enough to order a few

I recommend you guys to email and ask for the receipt/invoice.
I asked for one and got a response the next day. |

What did the 553Rs go for? I ordered a 751 but may try and get one instead if anyone backs out.

They were 3250, which is in line with the recent 553 batches on the JDI/SSA site. The 751 is a beast and that was my first choice, but I have other big expenses coming up and couldn't swing the price difference. |

Quoted: You will love that. I have the same 553 but gray/green, with a twin PE90. View Quote That’s awesome. Any photos? Also, have you suppressed your 553? Would love to hear your experience if so. I don’t hear/read much about the 11.9”. I almost went with gray/black, and it was hard not to go with the classic 8.9”, but felt I’d be giving up too much in the ballistics department...hopefully these continue to be imported and we’ll have the opportunity to keep adding to our collections. |

View Quote I have been running an SF Socom RC2 on the 553 with a 0.9 setting gas valve. Functions flawlessly and quieter than no can. Front heavy though. Also had to modify a bayonet to work with the SF flashhider as it is just barely too wide. |

I don't see this posted anywhere. Really sad if this is confirmed the case but things might change since Dave also mentioned how there weren't suppose to be any more SG550 or PE90 until 2022 or 2023 yet we just had a preorder for them last month. |

According to Dave there will be no more imports. This is for complete firearms, jdi will still be importing parts. From his Facebook video it was there “might” not be any more imports after spring/summer. He hired an ex-atf consultant that works with a lot of the firearm importers and apparently the consultant said “order what you can now, things may be changing by may or April” but it’s not set in stone. It’s what triggered the accelerated ordering and sale list. Still kind of want to get a 553lb but I’ve been doing 416 clones for now. |

Yes this came from Dave directly. Is was just before the last order rush.
Something may have changed since then, but at that time that was advise to get a 553 order in. |

Dave will be getting the equipment to do barrel Changes and there are “at least for the time” plenty of threaded short barrels out there, just get a spare! |
