Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - DS prefix serial number receiver questions

I've been looking around at early DSA receivers w/ DS prefix serial numbers, and am curious if they are all made equal? I see where they sell for $750 on Falfiles but currently on GB there are 4 of them that are a good bit less but have been listed for a few weeks now. Is there a certain serial number range that is not as desirable? Or are all DS serial numbered receivers gtg?
