So after an extremely long wait, I received my stamp for my Crux Axe 9 this past week.    To use it on my pistol, I obviously need a pistol booster.... Only thing I've found so far is the Gemtech LID with an adapter.   It adds about 2 1/2" to the length of the suppressor.   Crux has a much smaller pistol booster (doesn't need the adapter) on their site, but well its been out of stock forever....

Does anyone know of any alternatives I could use?    Anyone else running an Axe 9 on their pistol?

Well, I'm not familiar with the Axe 9, but about any booster using common pistons that doesn't go at least partially into the tube will add 2" or more.

I make custom booster housings and pistons, might be able to shorten it up considerably, but I'd have to have the can in my hands to design it, and it's gonna be more expensive than a L.I.D. or most other production units, about $200 minimum.

Never dealt with them, but maybe shoot them an email and see if they are compatible with any other manufacturers booster assembly.
