Hey guys, just wanted to bring specific attention to this topic and get some insight. I submitted an e-file form 1 for my trust, filled out the 5320.23 PDF with me as the only responsible persons which I uploaded to the e-file system. After submitting, I received an email with the control number and 2 attachments, cover letter and the form 1 I had filled out.
On the cover letter, it shows my name as the Submitter, but at the bottom for Responsible Persons it has (1) line, but shows name as "Null Null". After opening the form 1 they attached to the email, I see where the problem may lie. It shows in the number of responsible persons as (1), but no names listed in the responsible persons.
On the responsible persons page on the e-forms, I added myself, uploaded the 5320.23 and a picture, and the I hit next and it took me to the next page, which it would not do unless everything for at least one responsible person was filled completely. Did I need to select from the drop down, "Add responsible person" to start a second line?
