Is there a way to convert an older traditions percussion cap muzzleloader to use 209’s? Grandma got nephew a muzzleloader for christmas and just curious.

I think there is a nipple #11 (Mag Spark) for that.

Yup replacement nipple  

If you go musket cap it works like basic percussion

A209 conversion has an extra part that screws on top of nipple and keeps 209 in place and provides a firing pin for hammer to thwack
