Not sure if this belongs here, but not sure where to post the question. I currently have a Propper bag that I use for conceal carry at the office. The thing i do not like about it, is that it is a sling bag and is not comfortable to me when my laptop and my normal work stuff is in it asking with my pistol.

What non- military looking bags do y'all recommend? I've seen reviews of the 5.11 Covrt 18 and price isn't bad for a good bag.

Even though I am currently working from home,  I do travel to customer sites on a regular basis, so carrying on my hip is not good.

My EDC pistol is a Glock 43x. Currently only have the 2 10rd mags it came with. Waiting on the S15 mags to come out of backorder. My plan is to have 1 mag in the gun, with 3 spares.

@jfor

Goruck slick bags are pretty good but you'll have to pick one up on the secondary market.   I wouldn't leave a gun in an unattended bag though.  Have you looked at aiwb carry?  I carry a g19 with a g17 reload daily.  I don't bust my g48 out until its summer.

DSPTCH makes very good bags, 100% in the USA. Relevant for carry, their external pockets are magnetically closed. So they are quick to open, but secure.

Currently on a substantial sale.

Since it sounds like it’s your solution to not concealing well on the hip, what about appendix carry, low, with a belly band?

Backpacks are awkward to draw from and off body carry like with purses are fraught with problems.

I'm looking for something similar currently as well. I'm leaning towards a Vertx EDC Ready Pack 2.0. A bit smaller footprint than the COVRT. I've got a 34 liter bag now that's just overkill.

At customer site and if/when we start going back to the office, I'll be in business casual or blue jeans with tucked in polo shirt. Not to mention the work I do on a military base. I don't think AIWB will be the answer either.

With a belly band and a small enough gun, you can conceal in your gym shorts. IMO off body carry is just a terrible idea.

I have had the 5.11 Covrt 18 for about about 6 years.

It's literally been around the world and is still in great shape. It didn't come with the velcro holster so I had to order that separate.
