What's the story on it?

Is it just rebranded Winchester or something?

The only thing I’ve seen marked with Colt logo is rebranded Silver Bear zinc plated 62 grain FMJ 223 Remington ammo.   Colt sold the marketing rights for this ammo so it can carry prancing horse.  I think it is a marketing gimmick.    I’ve never bought any just saw it for sale in local Rural King.

I figured it was GBW or Jageman, but GBW makes more sense.  I'm just curious what the "Colt" connection was...

With their business issues colt has been doing some creative marketing. Didn't they license some ARs they didn't actually make to have a name deceptively similar to theirs not too long ago?

Are you talking about the "Colt Competition" stuff?  That was a company in Texas that capitalized on the Colt name to build guns with (some) Colt parts.  They went under in a kind of spectacular way and CDNN bought their inventory.
