Cmmg says there 8 weeks out. Anyone know where else I can find one? My googlefu has come up empty!

So it seems every site is sold out including Cmmg? Odd there all gone? Can’t be the panic because it’s a FA item. Any thoughts?

Shooting rimfire FA is cheaper. Save the centerfire ammo for social work or until resupply costs come down. When things are available people delay purchases because the market supply acts as a capacitance buffer. Once things start drying up people buy up items creating hidden inventory in their private stocks. In two years lots of things will be sold off again.

Just ordered one from Ciener. Don't know your feelings on dealing with them but they have the trips in stock according to my telephone conversation this morning.

5.56mm ammo is expensive so OP wants to shoot .22LR in his full auto M-16.

In order to use a CMMG .22 conversion kit in full auto, he needs to buy a .22 sear trip, which is not included with the .22 conversion. Sadly for OP, CMMG and everyone else is out of stock of the sear trip kits... most likely because CMMG makes them in batches and hasn't made a batch in a while.

Fyi, the sear trip is basically a hollow rectangle with a tab at the end. This rectangle goes around the bottom of the CMMG conversion bolt so that when the bolt closes, the tab hits the auto sear to fire the next shot.

I'd better hope that my anti-bounce weight doesn't break again because I don't want to wait that long for a new one.

FYI, once I got the broken weight out, the gun still ran in semi-auto fine without it but full auto was a no go.

Come to think of it, wasn't there someone else selling an anti-bounce weight?
