Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Cheek weld with scope?

How is everyone getting a decent cheek weld with an optic on these Marlin levers?

The cheek weld with the sights is natural and easy on my 1894 but once I put an optic on and raise that sight line it becomes tough, I end up with more of an unstable chin weld.  Any tips or tricks?

Add your own cheek piece.  You can either buy a strap on one or get a kydex cheek piece and drill the stock yourself.  I just drilled mine for one.

Funny most of my Marlins are scoped and have never had an issue.
