I'm waiting on an Angstadt Arms UDP-9 SBR to go through the ATF. When it finally comes in, I would like to put an ambidextrous charging handle on it. My question is, can I use any charging handle for the AR15 platform, or would it have to be shorter because of the 6 inch barrel?

Bolt travel is the same, barrel length has nothing to do with it.
You can swap an ambi CH

You're good to go with a charging handle for the ar platform.
