this video was the inspiration for my Charger...I purchased the inexpensive AK folding hinge from the source mentioned... my Charger is a take down, so could not use the inexpensive rear socket, and instead used a PMACA chassis

If you go back a page or 2 there should be a 5-6 page thread on what people have done with their Chargers.

I did a AR type folder on one and did not care for it, too bulky when folded.....If I were to try it again I'd try this adaptor:

I'm still waiting to find a Charger (preferably the 8") in stock but have parts here or on order. I chose to go with the SB Tactical FS1913 folding brace, as it bolts right up to the pic rail on the 4938 model Charger. They are out of stock at most places but Joe Bob and Optics Planet had them yesterday. Those look the best to me since they are not as bulky as an AR buffer tube and adapter.

Not trying to go on a total thread derail, but if you add up all the parts and adaptors + more in experimenting to find one that works can end up being more expensive than making it an SBR. I have an SBR Charger (LOVE IT) and is great to have the flexibility of putting anything on it I want.
