Has anybody here done it? Mine was FUBAR when my rifle was "new". But because the bolt had not been ground, headspace was good and it ran flawlessly, I kept it.

Out came the dremel and off it went.

Now looking for a replacement. The G3 sights don't interest me. Am thinking about an A2 sight cut down welded/silver soldered. The whole windage & elevation thing appeals to me.

Got the rifle for $449 which included s/h so I didn't feel bad about using the dremel. I only use the rail when hog hunting. For plinking, I want irons.
