Hello gents,

Looking for a case for my Mossberg Shockwave.  Most of the scabbard type cases seem to be "open end" - like it would not hold the gun in securely.

Any ideas  ?

Thanks !

I use a Wilson tennis racket case. I cut some stiff foam to fit it so it does not lose its shape with the Shockwave inside. It also fits AR pistols with short barrels. People at the range think I am either retarded or a genius.

Edit to add pics.

I too have a tennis racket case. I just haven't gotten the foam for it yet.

Pool que case or one of the insulated can coolers that hold a six pack end to end. I have one of each.

I like it. It discreetly fits the Shockwave well and carries 9 11x2.75" shells (a full reload of 9x00 buck & 2xslugs) in the zippered compartment.

Has anybody found a blueprint or plan holder/case that will work?  I mounted a rail and the Crimson Trace green laser on top...so that makes it difficult, but I would prefer a plan case.

ETA:  Something like this -

Amazon Product
  • Telescoping carrying case could extend from 24 inches to 40 inches in length, and the diameter is 3.15", so handle various poster dimensions.
  • Easy Interlock Design: The tube could be adjusted to 10 different lengths, easily and firmly lock your favorite poster in the tube case safely.
  • This telescoping document carrier keeps your posters, artwork, and documents from becoming bent or creased while you're on the go.

Amazon Product
  • Affordable, Black Plastic Telescoping Document Poster Tube with 3.5" diameter that expands from 24.5" up to 40" is ideal for artists, architects, and poster collectors
  • Poster Tube is made of a very rigid plastic to protect contents from bending or creasing in transit. Tube is also water and light resistant, protects materials against fading from exposure to sun light
  • Now includes an Extra Long Shoulder Strap that is comfortable for use even when the tube is fully extended

I guess I could be the guinea pig...

LOL - I might just buy some PVC and black spray paint and concoct my own.

Being the cheap SOB that I am, I ended up with this ChiCom clarinet/oboe case for my Tac14 off eGay for $15.00.

The side pouch comfortably holds a dozen shells.

Skinner sights makes several discreet soft cases that would be ideal.

I’m surprised a company hasn’t come out with a line of cases specifically for Tac-14’s and Shockwaves.
