[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can you mount a PVS14 to a tripod?

I'm interested in taking photos and recording video using my PVS14 and cell phone. I have a mount that does a very good job at securing my phone to the PVS14. Is there any way to mount a tripod to a PVS14? Obviously tripods screw onto cameras with a common thread pitch. Is this the same thread pitched used for PVS14 J arms?

I believe a standard tripod screw will thread right in the pvs14. 1/4"-20

Here are the results. This is a Samsung Galaxy 9 mounted to an AB Mod 3 monopod using a cheap amazon mount, with the monopod attached to a cheap tripod.
