The batts are mounted vertically side by side so the Reap battery extension and external battery will not fit.

So can I use rechargeable CR123As?

In theory yes, in practice, there isn’t any that have enough juice to make the thing run.

Honestly surprised unv doesn’t have an adapter yet.  They’re ,generally speaking , johny on the spot when it come to adapting to new stuff

I wish there was an adapter, but I guess I will get the REAP IR 35m instead of the REAP IR-2
