I have an AAC TiRant in 9mm that I've had for awhile.  i want a host PCC host for it and have been considering either a CZ Scorpion, Sig MPX, or a 9MM AR variant.

The issue is that the only option that I see that would out of the box have the M13.5x1 LH threaded barrel would be the MPX, it's hard to find and double the price of the other 2 options.

I googled some, but don't really see an adapter to make my TiRant work with the Scorpion or commonly threaded AR barrels.

Does anyone have any advice for me on the best way to go about this?

Thank you in advance for any help.

You should be able to change the piston to allow it to work with other hosts (e.g., 1/2x28).

Get a fixed barrel spacer to run with the 1/2x28 piston on the PCC. Or I suggest stepping up to a 3 lug mount.

Don't forget the fixed barrel spacer if you're not running it on a tilting barreled host. You can buy one or build one. I made a tutorial a few years ago on here when the factory spacers couldn't be found.

@pineappledevil

I went ahead and bought a Scorpion and as suggested above picked up a 1/2x28 piston for my AAC TiRant.

I cannot find a fixed barrel spacer and need to fab one up.  I searched but could not find your original post, any chance you can provide that info?

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help with this.

It may have been purged with the site host change over. I bought a small piece of steel bushing at Lowe's in the small hardware drawer section that fit it and cut to length. I think the piece was a couple bucks. You just need to take your piston with you and find the one that the piston slides into. Make sure to cut it to length for this space so you can identify if you have the sapcer or spring installed.

It is something that looks like this

Hansohn rules, I heard they have Fedex/USPS/UPS personnel on-call to pickup orders in 5 mins or less.

They are working on Einstein express shipping, will soon be available 5 years ago (you have to be a 1980s SNL fan to get this).
