I'm sure I missed the boat, but does anyone know someone willing to sell or a dealer where I can get a 9'' or 11'' in 7.62x39?

Curious to search also, even on gun broker could not find the 7.62x39. Still the 5.56 floating around but mostly in 14"
But you never know... they might sneak in another shipment, crossing fingers |

Sorry for the vagueness I just cant remember for sure who said it and if it was a video or if I read it, but whatever it was it made me glad that I didnt jump on them right away. Im pretty sure it was MAC when I think about it, because I think he said he talked to the guys at CZ because he was over there for a tour or something. Just cant remember if it was a video or Instagram. |

Personaly I would rather have the version most like the military version. Never been too happy with “Americanized “ versions of foreign military style rifles. If they really come out at the end of 2019 and they are cool I will get one but for now I’m glad I grabbed one of the closest to true to military issue ones.

I’m hoping the Americanized version isn’t going to be weird. CZ has a good track record of giving us good stuff though.
Thinking real hard about a 14” 5.56 as my next gun. |

Late 2019?
Oof that’s a long wait. I was hoping no later than mid 2019. I’m itching for a 9” 7.62x39 version to throw a Wolverine on, bad. |

I assume you mean mean some sort of legislation in Washington? If so, do tell or point me in a way to learn more? Since the upper appears very similar, someone please tell me that the action is as smooth as the old version? Slickest shooter I have felt.

Civilian version Bren 2 is posted up in Instagram by CZ Guns. The handguard looks replaceable. Nothing else looks obvious.

My 11" 7.62x39 version has a serial number in the C5069XX range, while the photo of the Bren 2MS has a serial number in the C470101. |

Interestingly, comparing the receiver designs, the Bren 2 MS is essentially the Bren 2 BR scaled down for the intermediate cartridge. No lightening cuts present on its upper, forward of receiver bifurcated for replaceable handguard.
https://www.czub.cz/en/produkty/automaticke-zbrane/cz-bren-2-br.html The QD swivel isn't present on any of the designs though. Uses 806/807 pattern lower/stock. Very much a hybridized mutt of the post-805 variations. |

The Bren in 308!! That is what I want!
Throw on a Allen engineering suppressor and atlas biod with what ever flavor of ffp scope. |

Okay, so what's the deal with the stocks on the Bren 2?
In the pics that I've seen, the stock on the .308 and 7.62x39 versions is different than the one on the 5.56 version. Is the stock on the .308 and 7.62x39 models an improved/updated version of the one on the 5.56 models? If so, that's what I want on the upcoming "civilian" model. |

Also, how do we attach rails on the upcoming "civilian" model? M-LOK?
