I think they do, unfortunately.
I prefer sending them myself...you know...to make sure they actually get to the CLEO and don't get lost in the mail...

SS usually handles it, as do most dealers.
However, per the instructions, it’s the responsibility of the transferee to do it…so if you’re using a new dealer, make sure to clarify who is going to do it. (And remember, if filing as an entity, there’s also a CLEO Copy of each RPQ) |

Assuming you did eForm and if so SS does it on your behalf. Once you certify you can look at the completed form on the dashboard and see who they sent it to. It was my state AG.
