Anyone have personal experience with these?  I'm tempted to order one up.

@TBACRAY - did you ever meter the Kraken against other cans?  You talked about it in one of the archived threads, but I haven't seen any of your numbers posted.

@HansohnBrothers - any other similar cans I should be looking at for extra quiet 9mm performance.

FWIW, I've got a local shops .45 can, an Octane 45k on order, and two Mini Boss (Omega 9k) suppressors.  I've also got a Maxim 9, but that's a whole package.  Hosts will be Glock, Beretta and Sig handguns.

I have shot the full size and SK but that was at a shoot so with ears on I can’t tell you too much about performance. What I can say is that they felt light on the gun and fit and finish were great. They are selling for a crazy deal right now too.

I honestly haven't metered any 9mm cans.  Guess I should change that.

Before the Kraken came along the Rugged Obsidian was the best measuring can in most tests I believe. It's a little heavier than the Kraken but is all 17-4 so better durability and ease of cleaning.

I doubt I put enough rounds through it to worry about durability.

This will be my 16th can, so heavy firing schedules will be through other suppressors.

@HansohnBrothers -Just got time to watch the video, thanks for making it. Which pistol is your preferred suppressor host?

I have witnessed the Kraken metered on state-of-the-art equipment, and while I don't feel at liberty to report the figures I saw, it's a very impressive can, a new standard in pistol suppressor performance.

The short version was equally impressive for it's size, although still a bit loud to be of interest to me for recreational purposes.

I like the CZ P07.

Mind sharing the reasons why?

I don't have a P07 yet, so I might need to pick one up sometime.

Very happy I have a Kraken pending. The deal was smokin and I'm looking forward to the 3 lug mount and Euro thread.

Should be fun.

Already have M13.5X1LH and a few other sizes of pistons in stock, as well as indexable fixed barrel spacers, just call CGS direct to order. Three lug has been designed for a while, but production is coming soon. You'll like it.

I have one in suppressor jail right now, my friend at my lgs where I bought it let me put some rounds through it when I was looking at it. I was shooting 147 grain subs with a 509 tactical and it was very quiet.

Only thing I have found quieter than the kraken is my mp5sd

Took GPD a long time to ship mine.  I looked at the Form 3 when my dealer got it and it wasn't filed for about 2 weeks after I paid.

Handling it at my dealer I couldn't believe how light it was.  My only pistol can currently is a Ghost-M that I've been using on 9mm so I can't wait to have something smaller, lighter, and quieter.
