I have an approved F1 that's been sitting here for almost two years, and figured it's probably time to build it. I already have six F1 cans. They all have a VSR blast baffle and then freeze plugs for the rest. Probably going with cones on this one.
For those of you using cones (for rifle calibers), are you using one for a blast baffle? Or using some flat instead? I ask because of something a YHM rep said about the Nitro vs the Turbo. As info, the Nitro has a conical blast baffle while the Turbo has a flat one (like the rest of their silencers). They limit the Nitro to a 16" 300BLK barrel, while most other cans are rated down to 10".
I do plan on doing SS for the first two, then Ti for the rest...but was curious what most were doing for a blast baffle. A cone blast baffle would mean a longer blast chamber spacer, while a flat one would require a spacer between the blast baffle and first cone.
