The pack isn’t complete and needs some parts from existing pack so you will need some extras prior to having a pack you can just switch out. Also packs replace almost as easy as a lower. If that what you want I would just get the few peices and have two packs instead of two lowers.

Quoted: I ordered the extra parts and an extra HK housing with the trigger pack, so it should all show up in the same box ready for assembly. Fun fun!! hKParts was nice enough to have a message in the binary trigger pack item page saying these parts were needed in addition to the pack itself. I just dropped the other parts into my cart and did the checkout. I can’t wait till it gets here. I already watched the install video three times... |

Gordon Milller over at HKSpecialist has them for $100 cheaper @$599 instead of $699.I ordered one today.

I ordered mine from opticsplanet and used a 10% code and the delivered price of $566
Will be here Thursday with the extra parts and housing i got from HKparts. On a side note i used my CC on both sites Friday and my CC info was stolen and used on Saturday. Lucky my bank stopped it and canceled my card. Not sure what site was compromised. |

So the package was here already today. Super fast shipping!
Unfortunately, my wife ignored the postman at the door while I was at work, and it required a signature. I have to stop at the post office tomorrow to pick the package up. BOOOOO! Double BOOOOO! |

Well, I think I ordered the wrong housing. I ordered a SEF clipped and pinned housing Mp5k and I have a Zenith Z5P. Looks like I need a push pin housing instead.
Any recommendations? Is the the correct one? https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2463 |

I suggest you install it first on your MKE factory housing, test for fit and test fire. I got too excited I bought a SEF Lower (POF) from RTG and installed the BFS. The fitment was loose. Trigger housing had slight movement up/down and front/back.
I removed the BFS pack and installed it on the factory lower and the fitment was perfect. Not to say the POF is bad, but it had fitment issues with the BFS. Hard to say if the factory HK SEF Lower would be different. I plan to eventually get a Navy SEF Lower. |

View Quote I ordered an HK SEF push pin navy housing and an HK contoured SEF housing last night after I emailed HKparts about what they recommended. I hadn't heard back from them before ordering the two housing, but just went for it so I could get them before the weekend. Ashley from HKParts emailed me this morning letting me know the two trigger housings I ordered last night should work properly, so I have a Navy and contoured on the way!! I'll let you know how they fit. I am going to use the Navy housing first. Edit: have my spring and extractor installed in the binary pack. Just waiting for a housing now! |
|
Lemme know which housing you like best. My PTR 9CT came with the navy, but I’m curious how the contoured compares.

Does your PTR use push pin front or clipped and pinned? I may have an extra housing. |

Received my trigger today. Will be installing it later tonight and shooting over the weekend.

Fired about 500 rounds today. Cheapest 115 gr. tulammo steel case I have. No issues. Trigger is a pleasure to shoot. No wiggle, no movement at all with the factory lower and BFS housing.
Tried the binary mode in slow fire mode - because of range rules (uhg). Totally love this damn thing. Hate to have spent this much coin on it but so far no regrets. |

Just got my Franklin BFS trigger. It fit in my Zenith Z-43P. When dry firing the hammer sounds a little light. Does anyone have experience with this setup? Did you need to install the other hammer spring?
|
|
Considering one. Any new feedback on these? Any problems to report?
|
|
I was correct. After reading the instructions I found out the trigger comes with the blue spring installed. Since this is for a 5.56 pistol I needed to change springs to the stiffer or more powerful spring. I swapped the springs and I need to go to the range and test fire.

View Quote Later I installed the same trigger pack into my SP5k (with the original SP5k fire/safe trigger housing) and it fit and functioned perfectly with no play whatsoever in the trigger housing. Franklin Armory had to make this work with a wide variety of trigger housings so I am sure it fits a little looser or tighter from gun to gun. Again, it functions flawlessly with everything I have used it with. I don't try to do mag dumps. Instead, I concentrate on taking the first shot on the pull and the moment my sights are back where I left them, I release the trigger for the second shot. It has the illusion of a two round burst once you get used to the trigger but it is actually two deliberate shots with a very short split between them. The ONLY thing that concerns me is the future legality of binary trigger designs |

I like mine.

Because it is. Nice thing about the HK binary is that I've never outran it. I've gotten off rhythm and had to readjust my stance or grip, but I don't think it's possible to get hammer follow. I did have my AR with its own binary trigger and I did outrun it a couple of times. I'm still tuning that and am sure I can get it running 100%, but the nature of the HK trigger pack makes it a no brainer. |
|
Curious if anyone has tried to put one of these in an ambi pictogram lower? I was wondering because I inquired with HKparts.net and they said it would fit and function OK in an ambi pictogram lower but the selector switch does not line up with the bullet markings on the lower.

I love my CA94 with BFS! It is amazing.
I have also mastered the art of the illusion of a two-round burst. So much fun. |
|
At first like several other people that review the franklin binaty trigger for the hk I thought it was kinda meh. But since have more trigger time and about 3k rounds down the barrel with it installed I can say the thing is a beast.
Now I've only shot a real mp5 40 cal once but with that said I think this is the next best thing for the money. This is also coming from a guy that has a foshtech binary on a belt fed mcr upper for his ar15 that also runs flasslesly. I have no regrets and would do it all over again for both platforms and actually am waiting for a sale to buy another for my ar's. |

Classic Firearms has one BFS left for $499. They had two. Guess who got the other one

I have two questions for those with these packs.
First, how is the trigger pull compared to the original trigger? I've read that it's around 4.5# but is it a clean break and shorter reset? Second, anyone have one and the G3/91 .22 sub caliber kit? I'm wondering if it'll work with the 22 kit. The 22 kit is super fast cyclic rate on full auto, so my thought is if it works with the kit, it'll be next to impossible to outrun it. |

Bought my Franklin trigger off gunbroker $520 free shipping.
And yes the semi-auto trigger pull on the franklin was smoother than the factory HK SP5k trigger out of the box. Factory trigger was creepy and gritty. |

I couldn't wait to shoot so i hit the range tonight. I shot around 1200 rounds and trigger performed flawless with every type of 115, 124, 147, and 150 grain bullets. Not the triggers problem but i did run into one round that my Zenith Z5RS will not feed out of about 16 different types shot. Its the Federal American Eagle 147 Grain flat nose. At first i thought it was the Magazine so i tried two more mags and same malfunction. Here is a picture comparing the 8 flat nose rounds i shot and its the only one my gun doesn't like and wondering if anyone else is having the same issue with that exact round. The mags used are POF and MKE and i have total of 20 mags and all work with other loads. First round in the picture is the trouble maker. Looks to be a tad bit shorter than the others. Federal American Eagle 147 Grain flat nose. To bad i purchased 1500 rounds, guess i will use it my Beretta M9A3, and Glocks. https://i.imgur.com/2w5l2ws.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JFAXT18.jpg https://i.imgur.com/0hoDcn0.jpg View Quote |
