What's a fair price and where would I start looking?

Looks like $1,200 to $1,350 on Gunbroker.com.  That’s pretty much where I get everything anymore.

I won my NIB PS90 on Gunbroker for a little over $1,000 shipped. Be patient and you'll find one for a decent price.

Are you LEO eligible or do you have a friend who qualifies? I paid around $1050 for mine new at a random cop shop on a work trip.

This is the dealer

Just as an aside PSA put 5.7 American eagle 40gr up for $15.99 with free shipping for 10 boxes. That's the best price you will find it at and it isn't always available for that price.

Picked mine up for 1k cash OTD, in a larger gun store in Pittsburgh who just got it in trade a week before.

They'll ship ammo to Colorado, lord knows I've bought enough from them. Try calling them and asking if they'll ship it without the magazine. That's worked for me on a few guns I've bought in the last few years since they passed the stupid mag ban.

If you can find a Generation -1 or -2 without the seller marking it up, snatch that bad boy up.

If you find an earlier one for sale cheap it's because the owner doesn't know what he has.

Unless you're of a mind to make a post-sample mg it isn't going to be of any real interest though. They are from what I gather relatively simple to make full auto, which is the draw of the earlier trigger packs.

I'm sure of course the high demand for old trigger packs definitely isn't because people are doing illegal conversions or anything, though.

For what it's worth I think the trigger in my gen 3 trigger pack is decent/good overall and excellent for a bullpup. I havent had mine for long but its fantastically fun and one of those guns you make sure new shooters get to play with.

I don't understand the hype for early trigger packs. Yeah, they were very close to the auto pack: so what? My AR lowers are one drill hole away from M-16 lowers, that doesn't make them more valuable, and I'm not going to club fed playing with either one.

There is a nice gen 3 on the EE for $1250. Seems like a fair buy to me.

This thread reminds me...

I need to post my as new FN PS90 Gen 1 Trigger Pack on Gunbroker, then I’ll have enough to purchase another PS90.

Especially when you can buy all the aftermarket parts of a gen 1 and install them easily enough.  Crazy.

I found a MIL/LEO deal for $1180 or so at a local shop in Colorado Springs. Add tax and it's about $1275ish. Is that decent for a new PS90?

Not a steal but not awful. That's about what they're going for on GunBroker and you'd have to pay shipping/transfer.

I paid $1000 for mine in a face to face transaction used....I love that little rifle.  Buy it, you won't find it cheaper unless you can find someone wanting to sell....

How about a deal on a post sample P90? Anybody seen one of those?

Damn you (that's from my wallet).... I've always wanted one of those things. And ammo is more available it seems at a lower price?

Edit to add

I bought it... This thing is sick. I can't wait to shoot it! Now for more mags and a rail or two for the sides.

Two years ago I ran across a guy down on his luck (needed cash that day to pay a bill) and snagged a NIB PS90 for $600. I regret selling it for $1350 a few months later.  I need to trade or sell my USP45T for one! Miss that damn gun.

Bought my ps90 from a buddy who bought it new.
I got 5 FN 50 round mags, 400 rounds of FN ammo, all papers, box, (and it has gen 1 trigger pack) for $1000.

:)

Bought a Vortex Sparc 2 and DM mount. Very happy with the package!

@BradPierson26

There is one for sale at Kodiak Firearms in Colorado Springs (new shop off 8th Street by Walmart). It was $1300 on the used rack; looked well taken care of and in great shape. Probably able to negotiate on the price too I would imagine.

That's not a bad price but it's a "when it rains it pours" financial situation. I'm buying a car next week and a Garand was theoretically ahead of the PS90 on the "want" list and those funds evaporated
Thanks for the lead though. Do you do a lot of business with them? I can't remember if I've ever been in there...

Built it myself.  Bought a PS90 and converted it.

Nice.

Did you have to mod the stock assembly to gain additional rearward movement on the trigger rods, or did merely swapping the selector accomplish the needed distance?
