[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best current shotgun smiths?

I have a double shotgun that needs a cut/crown, bead re-installed, close up the solder at the tip, and maybe do some trigger work. I know about Rose Action Sports, anyone have other shops I should take a look at?

Unfortunately they don't work on NFA shotguns (which mine is).

Williams has a good price quoted but I don't know if they do NFA, website doesn't say either way.

User @guncat is always the top recommendation that I've seen on here. Rose Action Sports is his company.

I'm going to send him a couple barrels in the next few weeks.

Guncat is the man! Idk if he does double guns but he does good work.

We purchased a full house Vang Comp 870 that was INCREDIBLE!

I hated to sell it but we DOUBLED our money.

Should be getting my 1301 barrel back from Rose Action Sports this week. I've sent work to him a few times and have always been pleased with both the quality and the price.

They did a rebuild on my 870 super mag SBS (because 3.5” shells are cool). Customer service was amazing and finished product was above expectations.
