Looking for recommendations on a decent soft case for full size MP5 with A3 stock.  Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

I've been using the Uncle Mike's soft case for my MP5A3 for years and it's been great. Holds six 30 round mags, with another external pocket for your boresnake, bag of extractor springs, forms, etc.

Also fits with M63 rail + VFG attached.

Have you checked out the ARFCOM discreet cases? They are really nice, especially if you can convince a few buddies to order with you to make shipping reasonable. They will just fit an assembled 11.5" AR horizontally, so it might be a little tight with the fixed stock. Could work on the diagonal perhaps?

I use a carry tactical case/back pack for my Zenith Z-5RS. The one I own seems to be a clone of something and Amazon no longer shows mine in stock. However I did find another copy of it on Amazon, Explorer Ranger bag.

The dividers work pretty well and the 30" case is long enough for a full size MP5 with a stock/brace extended. The three mag pouches are large enough to hold two 30rd mags each. Not sure I would trust the backpack straps with a heavy load over long distance but other then that I have no issues with mine.

That's what I have.  Not cheap, but works well.

I experimented with making a custom case out of a music gig bag - they aren't expensive and they are designed for holding electronics so they are padded, plus they are super low profile and non-tactical looking.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to really do it correctly with sewn straps and stuff.  In the end I just broke down and bought that case.

I use an Arc’teryx Khard 30 backpack for mine. Fits perfectly even with the slightly longer “F” model A3 stock.

I have 4 of the Elite Survival discrete cases and put two weapons in each one.  Stack them one on top of the other and use
the flat bungee cords to tie them all together and hold them down in the back of the SUV when traveling with them.  Best way
to move several weapons at once I have found.  They make a discrete one for the UMP that I put my MP5k-PDW in and it
works great.  Did not bring a collapsible stock for an MP5 but I think it might be a tight fit for the UMP case but here is a pic
with the "k" in it.

I am leaning towards the Elite Survival Case.  They look like good cases.

I looked for those previously from a link on HKPro but either they went out of business or no one is carrying their stuff anymore.

I had checked on those as well. I think elite took over production or something because IIRC their cases are basically the same.

and Vista Outdoor purchased that division of ATK in 2015, giving them ownership of Uncle Mike's and Eagle.

Yep. CDNN has been liquidating Eagle's inventory, and was selling the discreet SMG case for $59 in April 2017.

I love the WRB cases. Made in the USA (Texas). I believe that they make Larue's cases.  ~$120

I have an Eagle Industries discreet case and an Assault systems case.  Both work well for the MP5.

Voodoo made a nice MP5 case but discontinued them for some reason. They were only like $65 or so.

Maybe because it's unnecessarily long for an MP5 case?

The Uncle Mike's case is only $30 but it's 90% of what that Assault Systems case is (as far as padding).

Any thoughts on this one at Amazon for under $45?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073MVHKWV/ref=crt_ewc_img_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ASVDA2H21JZ99

Seems pretty rectangular and not super thin so it doesn't scream "GUN!".

I use one of these to transport my scorpion around. Its been durable so far, and is configurable enough that i can stuff quite a bit of gear in it if i want.
