Sounds like the PMX is coming to our market soon.
BIG NEWS! The Beretta PMXs Carbine is Coming to the USA |
Didn’t watch the video, but are these licensed off the B&T design that failed?
Who designed them originally. We all know B&T only steals or buys designs. |

View Quote The P26 was always a limited import gun with approximately 400 guns brought in. Then they sold off the design to Beretta. I had a P26 for a short time before I sold it. Well built, but heavy for what it was and direct blowback. The PMX has some minor improvements over the P26 in my opinion and should be a solid weapon. Depending on the price I would consider one. |
Design was the KG99/Tec9, then B&T made it the P26, then Beretta bought it from B&T and made it the PMX, each making some adjustments along the way.
So, straight blowback 9mm style, similar to many others, might be interesting depending on price. Wonder if it'll be made in USA or imported though. |
...and in a few years the parts and support will be crickets like the ARX100. I have had HK's since 1985 and I never really felt that HK hated me.
But, I have felt like Beretta might dislike me strongly. |
I sold my P26 after I heard Beretta was making a civilian PMX, hoping it would be released in the US market.
I really liked the P26, but with so few made and imported I didn’t want to put all that many rounds through it. As long as the price isn’t dumb I’ll definitely be picking up a Tortellini TEC-9. |
I'd buy one but it seems like it would cannibalize the CX4 market.
Hopefully it will be sold with a threaded barrel, unlike the CX4.

Quoted: 1600 euros for THAT thing? lol! View Quote This. That cheapazz looking thing looks like a $600 weapon at most. Put a few more exposed fasteners on it and it would be right at home in the KelTec lineup. And Beretta -- just FYI -- recip charging handles? Yet another proprietary magazine? Not great. These things might be acceptable in the $600 range. But instead, it's aiming to play the same market segment as Scorpions and Stribogs, except with an $1500+ MSRP??? |
Will be interesting to see if this follows the ARX100 rollout where they overprice at release and eventually have to clear them out at $700. I'd probably pick one up in the low $1k range, but anything above $1400 is going to be a tough sell.

Honestly this looks like a complete flop, definitely DOA. The price is outrageous for a direct blowback that looks cheap af. It reminds me of a Tec9 and that's not a good thing...
For the price I'd definitely buy an AP5P even though I have an MP5K clone already. A better Tec 9 is still overpriced.
The KP9 is still a better cheaper blowback. |

Quoted: The original with 8ish inch barrel. The micro is close to 2k View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Which one? the original? or the micro? The original with 8ish inch barrel. The micro is close to 2k Jesus... I still see some the the 8" versions for around $1K... It better be alot cheaper than 1600 Euros if it comes here, otherwise, its not worth the time. |

Looks like they got rid of the Slight delay system and compatibility with B&T mags.

View Quote 1600euro in Europe is the price to compete with the Evo (1700-1800) and the Stribog (1400) If the policy will be the same in the US the price should be under 1k.. just a guess |
Beretta pricing will follow...
I am guessing $1599... If Beretta would stop being dummies...they would lower the price on the ARXs to $999...it would sell... |
I am incredibly underwhelmed. It doesn't seem to do anything that other things don't do already for less money.

Street price like the ARX100 at sub $1000 and I'd be in for one.

It's continually puzzling how this company makes the kind of market calls that it does. 9mm PCC market is already pretty well represented. Meanwhile, the modern .308 BR market could use a fresh offering & they just sit on the ARX200. I honestly don't know what world they live in.
They are not making for us. They are making it for them. They are also selling it to us.

Quoted: I just dont see it mentioned and the pics of the mags ive seen look different than B&T like they look to have a stop on the backside of them. However the pics posted above look like B&T mags. Speaking for myself, I’d like to see one and go from there being a city dweller, PCCs are good in my books.
The other video said they made it for the Italian police market as the old subgun couldn't take lights and optics. They're apparently selling it here as a pistol here with no stock, instead it will have a picatinny rail

View Quote So completely obvious - they have missed the commercial market on everything since the ARX series started. They introduce $2k rifles when the AR market hits $500 avg. They come out with a PCC only when the market is past peak with competition. The 308 pltform for the ARX would be of greater interest particularly if they could offer .277 barrels/mags/conversion for it - Its a quick change system?? One would think they could just try to be successful rather than riding the coat tails of their good legacy products. |

Why does Beretta make every plastic thing they make look so awful?
It's like they are trying to make it look as stupid as possible. |
This should be a $600 gun. I think they would be popular at this price for what it is.

I got the ARX100 for $750 clearance+sale when Academy closed them out. Originaly $1700! Beretta misses another market peak like they are completely out of phase with consumer demand. They will bail on this and price will drop. |
