I ordered my ARX 100 SBR from Botach about 3 weeks ago.  A few days later I got an email from them requesting a signed form that I agreed it will take up to 90 days to process the order.  I had that "WTF" look and checked around the web about Botach since I've never dealt with them.  Well it didn't look good.  I talked to the receiving FFL  and he too told me about his experiences with Botach.  Needless to say I did the form and attempted to contact them several times,  Goes right to voicemail, no emails answered either.

A few days later of no responses I said f it and used my dot gov email to their cs, sales, and GSA email addresses telling them I need a response.

THREE MINUTES later, BAM! Email from them.  They got it and being processed.

The ARX came in last Thursday and prepping my forms for the man.

Yeah, I saw that deal, saw that it was Botach, and said "hell no".

Mine came in last week.  About 30 days from order to doorstep.

Botach receives a lot of shit for their business practices but I've yet to not receive anything I've ordered.  I just know going in that there is usually a trade off for the drastically reduced price I'm paying: longer wait time.  I will still throw a quick call to customer service to check on product availability.  They have been strait with me when I've called and will admit when they don't have a product in hand or if it's drop shipping directly from the manufacturer (like my recent OSS suppressor purchase).

On a side note I'm very impressed with the ARX SBR....especially for the price.  I'm considering picking up another just for shits and giggles.

I’ve ordered lots of stuff from Botach over the years and only had a problem once. They were quick to fix it. YMMV.

people here had good experiences with the Benelli M4 SBS demo units they blew out at a super cheap price...

the key with Botach is patience and limiting your order to a few SKUs...

Update:

ARX came in a week ago. Finalized the form 4 via Silencer Shop Friday, so we'll see how long now.

I like SilencerShop ease of process, especially digitized prints and snapping my own phone using my phone. That alone is worth the processing charge. And I've rolled 1000's of prints ink and digitized. So far so good.

Although I had to do a minor boot in the ass of Botach to get them to conform my order and subsequent docs received, it went well considering. In the end, this ARX cost me $1205 after stanp tax, and NFA fee which includes SilencerShop charge.

I'm also Form 1'ing 3 more AR's and a CZ Bren S1 Pistol . Two tomorrow and the other two later. Using silencer shop also.

I got a 16" ARX from them, was a little confused on their end but no issue. Seen another couple posters that had bought the SBR ARX without an issue.

I bought the SBR version from them two months ago. Other than a form they want you to sign about up to a 90 wait it was no issue. The ARX Form 3 was submitted quickly and they shipped quickly.

I bought my ARX from them. It took about a week to get mine. We did have a small problem. The website ad said it would come with two magazines. I got one. The factory box it came in said two were included. I called Botach and they said if there was a shortage, it wasn’t their fault, that I should call Beretta.

I called Beretta and they asked for the serial number. After getting the number, the CS rep said that it was supposed to have two magazines and they would ship one out by UPS immediately. He then asked where I got it and I told him. As soon as I said Botach, there was an audible “sigh” in his voice, but he didn’t say anything.

The Beretta rep then asked for an email and said because of my purchase date I could email a copy of my purchase receipt and get five free thirty round steel Beretta magazines. I got my “missing” mag two days later and the other five a week after that.

I’m on the fence about getting their SBR kit.

I just ordered one yesterday. For the price I thought I would take the gamble. Hopefully mine gets to my dealer quickly as others here have had. They did email me back right away to confirm the email for my FFL info so we will see.

Nope. I emailed them about 2weeks ago and they said they are behind on orders due to new staff. Gonna email them again next week. I have always gotten orders from them quickly and for the price I’m willing to wait to a point
but getting kinda impatient now. In the meantime I found a sbr barrel kit and will be doing a form 1 on my FDE ARX.

It will eventually arrive but Botach is hit-or-miss when it comes to shipping consistency.  My first ARX SBR was just over a month after order.  Second one was only a couple weeks.  I also ordered a couple closeout OSS cans from them that where also inconsistent with delivery timeframe.

HK Specialist. They had one listed for $699 I think. The only one I found anywhere so I snatched it up for my FDE ARX.

Out of stock

Too bad this quick  change barrel system doesn't have enough of a following for the commercial aftermarket to make quick change barrels.  Might also be that Beretta has a patent on it keeping the aftermarketers out ???

Quickchange for 300 Blackout or for an easy SBR conversion would be nice.  Even the lowest price barrel I can find is nearly what I paid for the ARX100 rifle!

I am going to SBR mine but I guess I am going to chop and thread after the Form 1 approved.

Will the 16" barrel function chopped to say 10- 11.5"  or does a gas port need to be widened???  I'm not too familiar with this system.

I remember someone that chopped the barrel, pretty sure it was on this site but I don't know where the post was.

The setup currently is 2 holes in the barrel, so "normal" has one hole open to the gas system, "substandard" (weak ammo) lets both holes open to the gas system. The person said, IIRC, that they opened up the 1 hole to function with a suppressor, then opened the second hole to let more gas in to work the gun without the silencer, making it a N-Silencer, S-No silencer setup.

But that's all from memory, so can't say it'll work!

Well now I have my factory sbr kit and the sbr parts kit from botach. Still waiting on factory SBR from botach but I think I, gonna put the parts kit with short barrel on EE. I doubt I will ever shoot it enough to wear out 2 sbr barrels.

Finally got my sbr. For the price can’t complain too much about slow shipping. Still need to sell parts kit probably. Not sure I really need the spare barrel.
