I friend of mine who is one of (if not the) top Benelli gunsmith for modifying them for competition had a Torros in his shop the last time I was over there was impressed with it. This is a guy that works on easily a couple of hundred or more custom Benelli shotguns a year.

Wow.....I started a great thread!!!!
As for those who have installed the FFT handguards. Can you show the area you”fitted” to get them to mount properly? I taken off some from material on both ends and just can’t get my barrel to seat 100%. There is still the slight hint of silver showing at the receiver where the barrel meets. There is none with the stock handguards. Curious if I’m missing the obvious area to adjust them for a proper fit. Thanks |

So are there any other stock options besides factory and Mesa? I would love to put a smaller stock on this. I get the skeleton / collapse type are basically non existent. Just asking what else (if any) will fit. And I’m referring to the High Peaks clone.

My front sight was slightly loose as well on my T4s arrival. One small turn of my mini wrench once I sighted it in and it’s stayed snug.
So what are our stock options if we want to change it in the future ? |

So are we thinking the Toros is higher quality than the other options? I've got to buy one of these soon.

Thanks. Hopefully someone can verify the dimensions and thread pitch.
Should be gen 2 that's roughly the same tube, and has the carrier release button located directly under the bolt handle like a real M4, correct? (And even gen 1 should have the same threads, if I understood correctly.) Are we still thinking all these brands are actually manufactured by Sulun? |

Its hard to beat the price of the panzer though at 550. |

If somebody can get their hands on the panzer and verify if it has the metal trigger guard we may be able to differentiate between the gen 1 (or 1.5?) like the charles daly 601 DPS and the gen 2 like the toros copolla.

As for the video above, definitely not my experience as I’ve shot over 300 rounds now of Speer Lawman and Winchester X Low Recoil, Full Power 00, Slugs, and some birdshot with zero malfunctions to date.
This video should answer the tube question. I also wonder if the tubes on the pistol grip stock vs the standard stock on the Toros T4s are the same or does the PG possibly have the same tube as their collapse stock gun. I recently picked up an Emperor Arms MX5. All of these Turkish shotguns look very similar with dozens of different models. It is quite confusing.
As to the malfunctions in the video posted above. I've seen a few bone dry shotguns choke without lube. I lubed up the bolt and action bars on my MX5 before shooting it and haven't had a malfunction yet. Not a lot of rounds though. I also always pull the follower out of the magazine tube and run a patch down it. |

Screw it, ordered the panzer m4 from classic. Also ordered Dave’s metal works 7 round tube.
Someone commented on the classic YouTube video that they ordered their panzer on the 5th and received it on the 18th and it has a metal trigger guard. I’m excited! |

Just pulled the trigger on the Panzer from CF. I couldn't get an answer on when more Four Peaks were coming in, so I went Panzer. Now the wait begins. Tube will be ordered next, and by that I mean after this.
Like I said I held the Four Peaks Copolla, and I really liked it. Just waited 1 day too many. So If the panzer is close, i'll be happy. Now watch, my FFL will call and say Four Peaks is in... Oh well. |
|
|
