What’s the turnaround these days.  I sent one in 2 weeks ago, still waiting.

Seems long from what I've had in the past, but I bet they are getting slammed and the holiday break plays into it.  Call their CS, I bet they can give you and idea.

It was around 2 weeks or so when I sent mine in.

If you look on the Benchmade website, under service and support, the warranty tab describes the LifeSharp  service and also gives you an approximate turn around time, right now it says 2-3 weeks.

About 2 weeks sounds right, for what they do and the fact that it only costs postage to get it there it's well worth the wait

Can you not sharpen yourself ?

I sent two in right before Halloween. They came back 12/12. They required more than just sharpening so I don’t know if that factored or not.

Seems like they run a bit longer than they used to.  2 weeks isn't bad though.  It's been a few years but had a couple back in a week and one in just under 2.

I sent 4 in November 9th. Got shipping notification today.

Keep waiting.

I’m irritated about the time, but I’m happy my knives will be all tuned back up. Screws were missing, broken axis lock, snapped blade etc.

Do they come back with a better edge than new?  Both my mini grip and my buddies 940 had absolute garbage edges from the factory, yes they cut but they were awfully coarse ground and very uneven.  Everything else is great but man that edge leaves a lot to be expected

In my experience, yes. The sharpened edges are usually sharper than factory ones for some reason. I live very close to the factory and they will sharpen while you wait. Usually takes about 5 minutes tops unless there are busy.

In my experience, yes.  I believe this is because the resharpen has more human attention to detail.  I could be wrong.  I have a KME sharpener, so now I just sharpen my own knives.

Awesome! I am moving to West Salem in June so I will get mine sharpened and take a trip up to Oregon City.
