I'm finally getting my SHTF and camping stuff together and about to pick up a BK21 some time next week.

If I want to get it refinished in cerakote would that fuck up the temper of the blade or anything? If so what's a better finish that won't fuck up the blade?

Air dry cerakote shouldn't hurt anything

Beckers look amazing with a forced patina.

This!  Unfortunately, I don't have any cerakote experience but I can personally recommend the forced patina.  Very easy to do:

First I removed the coating using some kind of paint remover.
I soaked my knives in apple cider vinegar overnight, rinsed them off and dabbed on mustard, for an hour or so.  Obligatory photos:

BK16 is almost the most perfect knife ever made.
