Can anyone identify this bad boy? I'm kind of at a loss. Looks like a 1905 and a 1907 had a child.

No pictures of the markings yet, I bought it on a whim. Looks to be too tall of a guard for smle and the shape of the blade looks 1905. Other interesting note is that the latche button is on the opposite side of a 1917
