Now all you need is a 99 and you'll have a trifecta.

I just wish the 82s were more accurate.

Mine is minute of car door accurate not matter what flavor of bullet/powder combo I try.

I need a 95 or 99 with like a 20" fluted barrel and a can to go with my m82. The 82 is just so... much. I just don't get it out to the range  all that often. Heavy, setup time, etc. buddies love shooting it though.

They did a fluted hunter I think they called it with a short barrel that I think was 25". I think that's the shortest 99 I have seen. I would really like to shoot a 99 with a can but I don't know how light it would want to be.

The 99 Hunter had a 29" fluted barrel. The receiver had sling loops.

Have you tried solids or AMAX? If so, have you played with the overall length? Yes, you'll need to load them one at a time but you should see improvement in accuracy.

You will be the first to know if I do!

Yeah for when you took it deer hunting. Is 29” the shortest then?

If I ever find a dirt cheap one I will be cutting it down to 16” or rebarreling with a proof or the like.

It’s good to dream

When I was at Serbu, we did some BFG's with 16"  barrels. I liked it. May get Mark to do one for me with a slightly heavier barrel profile.

I got a cheap 22" Safety Harbor on a killer sale they did. It's pretty noisy for sure. A 16" 99 would be brutal that close to the face. I don't need any more for sure. Now I just need a pile of cheap ammo and the money to buy it.

The muzzle blast of a 16" .50 isn't as bad as what you think it would be. Recoil is pretty tame also.

I was just think that it’s so much closer to your face with a 99. With a conventional setup I’d shoot it all day
