A .50 will be happening soon. Should I be looking at a Barrett for the fun?  I have a TRG-42 in .338LM and these days can’t even get out to a mile...so should I get the less accurate Barrett and have fun with the semi auto features or buy a Cadex CDX 50 (or cheaper Sig bolt action .50) and take advantage of better accuracy? Won’t be hunting with it...mainly fun blasting. No plans to spend $2k on a suppressor so that’s not much of an issue either. Thoughts?

You reload?  If so, get the CDX50 to take full advantage of it.

If you're going to be blasting, then you'll probably be primarily shooting API.
No sense in running that through a precision rig.

There's few things as fun as rapid firing a 50cal, I'd recommend a m82 or the serbu bfg

Get the 82A1.  It will be by far the most fun.

I picked up a M82A1 this year. I’ve had no regrets for choosing it over the others.
