Classifieds on a local gun board. Saw it, said, "Meh, why not?"

Never intended to own one.

The 30rd B&T mags can be had for $45 when they're in stock, not too much more than Glock 33rd magazines I guess.

I've been debating this as well. With no ETA, I think I will just get one now instead of waiting.

The prices between the mags and the Glock 33 round mags aren’t too much apart after I checked......
Now I have to decide between the GHM9 and the APC9

According to the TFB article B&T will be selling the Glock lowers separately for anyone who wants to upgrade their existing gun. So you can always buy one now and upgrade later, I think that's what I'm going to do.

That is an option...... but from some reports I have read those lowers will be expensive, and I don’t want two different lowers for the gun...... and try to use some of the mags I already have for my Glock pistols

For me, this is 1/2 right.  I don't need the B&T mag lower, and I don't want to pay more $ to get both.

But more than that, it's about having mag/ammo commonality with my handgun.  For what I'd use this for, besides having fun at the range......sharing mags & ammo with my handgun would be of great benefit.

I'd like that as well....................but, I will probably just go ahead and get the one that uses B&T mags and stock up on them. Was pondering the collapsible brace as well, but might just go with the folding one from TechSmith for it, and use the saved money for mags and accessories

I looked at the APC9, but the integrated sights are terrible. The cost difference of the GHM9 will also offset the cost of the brace and tailhook. I ordered the GHM9.

Or at least if it uses the same lower as the APC9?

Most websites selling it don't say. However, according to Tar Heel State Firearms, it does.

Has anyone added a 3-lug muzzle device (flash hider / muzzle break not a suppressor) to their GHM9 and have pictures of it? Trying to see what some of the options look Poole aesthetically before I pull the trigger on one.

Also besides the MP5 flash hider and the B&T one listed earlier in this thread, what other 3 lug flash hider options are out there?

So probably sub $2k for a SBR'd compact with the collapsible stock.  Comparable in price to a MP5 clone.

Will the compact model have a 3-lug?

One thing I've noticed with B&T - if you're considering the cost, you've chosen the wrong brand.

I've spent a lot of money on mine. I could have easily purchased a firearm with the exact same capabilities at a much lower price.

The only reason you're buying a B&T is because you want a B&T.

Don't know if this had been mentioned at all or not, but just a heads up. For anyone thinking about running a Scalarworks L.E.A.P mount on your GHM9, don't. It doesn't fit. I even called their customer service to confirm I wasn't missing something and they confirmed that for some reason the GHM9 rail isn't "mil-spec". Their mount won't open enough to fit over the rail to clamp down.
