You'll need the Sig MCX adapter because the recoil assembly sits higher than the rear of a standard USGI lower.
The MP5 stock will attach but will not collapse, kind of defeating the point. |

I don't know about the BRN 180 specifically, but all I needed to put an MCX Virtus upper on an ADM UIC lower (Wilson Combat TR-TTU-3G trigger) was the MCX stock adapter. I've heard some triggers don't work with the Virtus uppers.

The MCX upper is not compatible with the KNS plug.
